As a play-based childcare provider in the Bronx, New York, we provide high-quality early education for children from 6 months to 4 years old. Every day, our children enjoy a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development every step of the way, right through until they are ready to take on elementary school and beyond.
We also offer after school care for children aged 4 to 12 years old, providing direct pickup from local schools, homework support, and enrichment activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best when they are happy, curious, and free to explore. By blending structured learning with child-led play, both indoors and out, we create a warm, home-away-from-home environment where children feel safe, confident, and genuinely excited to discover the world around them.
Through our "Let's Play!" curriculum, we nurture the whole child, supporting social and emotional growth alongside early academic development, so that every child who walks through our doors leaves better equipped for life.
Who We Are
Brainy Tots Childcare was founded in the Bronx in 2016. From the very beginning, the vision was clear: to do things differently. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach to childcare, We set out to build a setting where children from 6 months to 12 years old could explore, grow, and thrive in an environment that truly felt like a second home.
We believe our approach gives children a bright, positive start in life. We encourage curiosity and discovery alongside emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and the building of meaningful friendships.
Today, Brainy Tots operates across three home-based locations in the Bronx, each one carrying the same warmth, care, and commitment to excellence that has been there from day one.

Spanish Lessons, Every Afternoon
At Brainy Tots, every child takes part in daily Spanish lessons each afternoon, building vocabulary and confidence through conversation, songs, and circle time. We believe that early exposure to a second language is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children, and we are proud to make it a consistent part of every child's day.

Brainy Tots works with a network that provides access to free and low-cost childcare for eligible families with children aged 6 months to 4 years. We also offer access to 3K, a free city-funded program for three-year-olds. If you're a working parent in the Bronx, you may qualify.
